The 2010 St Ives September Festival will take place between September 11 and September 25
Once again there will be plenty of music, films, talks, poetry, exhibitions and other events.

The Beat hailed from working class, industrial Birmingham in 1979, it was a time of social, political and musical upheaval.
Into this storm came The Beat, trying to calm the waters with their simple message of love and unity set to a great dance beat.
Soon The Beat were riding high in the charts with their remake of the classic tune "Tears of a Clown". They toured the world relentlessly with such artists as David Bowie, The Police, REM, The Clash,Talking Heads, The Pretenders, and The Specials. scoring hits with tunes such as "Mirror in the Bathroom", "Save it for Later", "I Confess", "Stand Down Margaret", and "Can't Get Used To Losing You".
