The Bootleg Beatles & A.T Harvey
The Guildhall
Saturday 6 September 2008
8:30 pm
All tickets £24
The "World's Greatest Tribute Band" tell the
story of the Beatles from the early days through the glory
days to "Sergeant Pepper". Their impersonations are
uncanny and by the end audiences are reacting as to the
real thing.
Having seen the Bootlegs at Glastonbury, Oasis asked them to
be support for their record-breaking 1995 Earl’s Court shows -
culminating with the bands sharing the stage for ’I Am The
Walrus’ and later for their massive outdoor events in Loch
Lomond, Cork and Knebworth.
These gigs and an appearance on the NME cover, heralded the
Bootleg Beatles breakthrough to a new contemporary audience
Since becoming regulars on the festival circuit, The
Bootlegs have played Wembley with Rod Stewart and Elton John,
and filled Tokyo’s Budokan Hall on their own.
A scoop for St Ives, usually at much bigger halls

Andrew Trenear Harvey first picked up a
guitar at the age of thirteen - by fifteeen he was on the road,
armed with his guitar and entertaining people on the streets.
Along with the occasional bar gig this was to be his vocation
up to the present day - taking him all over Europe in the
process.
He has also been playing the banjo for the past seven years
- finding it areal favourite with his public. Andrew’s many
influences include notably Bob Dylan but also The Beatles, The
Kinks, Elvis Presley, Donovan and other musicians from the
1960’s very much swayed by his fathers taste in music when he
was growing up.
